The electrifying sounds of Dear Seattle will ignite the stage on June 27th at Mackay's Seabreeze Hotel.

Fresh off the release of their latest single, "Sungazer," Dear Seattle promises an evening of fun and realism that bridges the gap between modern grunge and sincere introspection.

"Sungazer," released via Domestic La La, is already being hailed as an instant classic. With its sharp punk structure and pulsating basslines, the song captures the essence of Dear Seattle's evolution while staying true to their roots.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Brae Fisher's introspective lyrics add depth to the band's dynamic performance. Fisher reflects on the excitement of the bands upcoming performance in the region and says “The tour has just been amazing so far, it’s been super fun and the shows have been pretty rowdy which is great!

“We’re so excited to come to Mackay, it’s beautiful and we really love going up there.”

When asked what locals can expect, he enthusiastically said, “It’s fun, it’s loud, there’s singalongs, it’s very light hearted, very honest, very raw and it’s just overall very good!”

Since their debut EP "Words Are Often Useless" in 2013, Dear Seattle has carved out a prominent place in the Australian music scene. Their self-titled EP followed in 2017, paving the way for their full-length album "Don't Let Go" in 2019, which secured a top 10 spot on the ARIA Australian Album Charts.

The band's sophomore album, "Someday," released in 2022, soared to #4 on the charts, cementing their reputation for blending old-school pop punk with contemporary indie rock sensations.

As they gear up for their first international tour in November, co-headlining with Superbloom in Europe and the UK, Dear Seattle is poised to conquer global stages while continuing to build on their local success.
