Mackay Awaits The Talented Twin-Duo Pierce Brothers

The anticipation is rising as the Pierce Brothers gear up to grace Mackay’s Seabreeze Hotel on June 6th and Airlie’s Magnums Hotel on June 7th, marking their thrilling return to North Queensland after their stellar performance at last year’s Airlie Beach Festival of Music in November.
Riding high on the success of their chart-topping album, 'Everything Is Bigger Than Me' and a string of sold-out shows across Europe and Australia, the dynamic duo is eager to bring their unique sound to the region once again with their infectious energy and mesmerising performances.
With critical acclaim under their belt and the desirable #1 spot on the ARIA charts, the Pierce Brothers are on the verge of reaching even greater heights, recently announced as support for the 2024 James Blunt's Australian arena tour. Their upcoming shows promise to be unforgettable experiences, as they bring their unique blend of indie folk, blues and roots music to eager audiences in North Queensland.
For Patrick Pierce, one-half of the twin duo, the prospect of returning to Mackay is met with genuine excitement and anticipation. "We absolutely love it up there," he shares.
"Every time we’re there, the audiences are just fantastic, so we’re really looking forward to getting back and seeing everyone."
Reflecting on their past experiences in Mackay, Patrick reminisces about the cheering crowds and notably warmer weather compared to Melbourne.
"It’s definitely warmer than Melbourne for one, and we just have a ball!" he adds.
"There’s always great crowds, everyone’s responsive and it’s one of our favourite spots to travel to in Australia."
As identical twins, Patrick and Jack Pierce share a unique bond, both on and off the stage.
"Being identical twins, we’ve always had a similar voice box, so harmonies are something that have always come quite easy to us," Patrick explains.
Their journey from busking on the streets to performing on stages across the globe has been nothing short of extraordinary. From their early days of busking to their current international success, the brothers have relied on their innate connection to deliver captivating performances that resonate with audiences worldwide.
"We started playing shows when we were around 15 and started doing gigs around the area," Patrick recalls.
"But it wasn’t until our 20s when our now manager suggested busking, which blew us up even more, to where we are now."
Reflecting on their whirlwind musical odyssey, Patrick acknowledges that “it’s been a wild ride” and the journey they've embarked on as twin brothers has been fuelled by their passion for music and a shared dream of making a mark in the industry.
As they prepare to bring their unique sound to the Mackay and Whitsunday region once again, the Pierce Brothers are ready to deliver an unforgettable musical experience, showcasing their undeniable talent and down-to-earth spirit to audiences eager to be swept away by their captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
