PCYC Whitsunday is preparing for a Halloween event like no other as it hosts its Spookiest Halloween Showcase & Carnival.
Scheduled for Saturday 2 November the event promises a day filled with thrilling performances, carnival-style fun, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Open to the entire community, the showcase will feature talented recreational gymnasts demonstrating their skills across various apparatuses, with participants ranging from Foundation to Gold level. Spectators will have the chance to witness the hard work and dedication of local athletes while cheering them on as they receive well-deserved medallions.
The highlight of the day will be the side competitions, including a longest handstand contest, a flexibility challenge for the strongest split, and a core strength showdown. These competitions will add an extra layer of excitement as gymnasts test their abilities in fun and unique ways.
The carnival atmosphere will be in full swing with games starting at 11am. Attendees can look forward to enjoying a sausage sizzle, lolly bags for sale, and the festive spirit of Halloween. Spectators are encouraged to bring along a gold coin for entry, with EFTPOS available for convenience.
Whether you’re a gymnast or just a fan, this spooky showcase is set to deliver thrills, fun, and plenty of treats. Be sure to head down and support the local talent while enjoying a day of community celebration.
