On Wednesday, men and ladies played a single stableford event sponsored by Bowen Golf Club. Ladies’ winner on a countback was Lisa Raisbeck 37pts, runner up Penny Stewart 37pts. Men’s winner on a countback was Kevin Cross 40pts, runner up David Roberts 40pts.
On Saturday we played a single stableford event for a club trophy. Ladies’ winner was Penny Stewart 38pts, runner up Robyn Slade 36pts. Men’s winner Andrew Fitzgerald 39pts, runner up on a countback Peter Theodossio 38pts. Congratulations to Noel Schultz who had a hole in one on #12 during Saturday’s competition.
